Ian A. Little

lan A. Little* was still a teenager when he started at Osgoode Hall Law School after a couple of years at McMaster University. He had his first reported case before he even graduated in 1984. lan was called to the Ontario bar in 1986, and won his first civil jury trial that same year. He practised as an associate and then partner with a well-known insurance defence firm in downtown Toronto until 1994, when he switched sides and began representing accident victims. He and Dianna Morello have worked together since 1995, creating and building a thriving litigation practice that continues with LMV.

lan has appeared at all levels of the Ontario court system including the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal. He has also participated in proceedings at the Supreme Court of Canada. lan has represented clients at various Ontario and federal tribunals including the former Canada Pension Plan Disability Review Tribunal, the Social Services Tribunal, the former Pension Appeals Board, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, the former Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Licence Appeal Tribunal.

Over the course of his career, lan has had involvement with the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Advocates’ Society, the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto, the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association, McKenzie Health Foundation and the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce.
